SIMPLY VIRTUAL™ has a part-time position (20 – 25 hours per week) for a Project Coordinator available in our Charlotte, NC office. This position requires a candidate who is willing to assume a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will work with a SIMPLY VIRTUAL™ Project Lead to support a range of administrative, marketing or technical projects.

Project Coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate activities, meetings and resources in a project life-cycle (initiate planning, executing / controlling and closing)
  • Tracking and reporting project and budget status.
  • Identifying project issues and escalating to PM to avoid project delays.
  • Compiling meeting notes & action items.
  • Scheduling problem reviews and follow up on assigned actions.
  • Serving as point of contact for project information and updates.

    MS Project or CA Clarity and MS Outlook

This role is ideal for a newly certified CAPM with a great personality and follow-up skills. The successful candidate will have Bachelors degree, 3 – 5 years proven experience delivering RESULTS in a Business Analyst or Project Coordinator role and be able to work effectively with people at all management levels. You must also be familiar with project & risk management practice standards and frameworks, proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) — as well as project management productivity tools like MS Project, Clarity etc.
